At a wedding, my candid photography captures the emotions and feelings of the moment when two people unite their love. The moment when a daughter leaves her mother and will only see her again as a married woman. I see the tears of joy and the wide smiles of laughter among family and guests. I am in the shoes of the child tasting the cake frosting or blowing bubbles while the adults ignore my existence. I show the reuniting of family and friends at this special time. Sometimes this is a series that lets an emotional story come out or I may find a solitary image that shows a special moment.
Individual portraits are carefully planned to understand the impression desired, and to better understand what is important to the subject. How do you want to be seen? Portraits are on location and formal with lights and a backdrop if needed, or more frequently, candid incorporating what represents you or your
family.
